What Kino is

getkino.tv is a TV and movie tracker. You can import your watch history from TV Time, track episodes and movies you've watched, rate them, create custom lists, and comment on episodes and films in the community. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Your account

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — there's no password. You're responsible for keeping access to the email address you use. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@getkino.tv.

The service

Kino lets you import data from a TV Time export, track and rate episodes and films, build custom lists, read and write public comments, and export all your data. We may change, pause, add, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

Your TV Time data

Kino accepts two export formats: TV Time's official data export, which was available at gdpr.tvtime.com until the service closed on 15 July 2026, and the file produced by the TV Time Out browser extension. Both are produced by third parties under their own terms, not ours. Keep your export file safe. Importing your data into Kino is voluntary, and you're responsible for the data you choose to import. Imported data is private by default — visible only to you. Some imported items may not match the catalog and won't appear in the app, though they remain stored and exportable.

User-generated content

When you publish a comment, you grant Kino a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and store that content in connection with the service. You retain ownership of your content. You're responsible for what you publish. Comments are public and visible to all authenticated users with your chosen username.

Community rules

• Don't post content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, harassing, hateful, or that violates the rights of others.
• Don't post personal information about other people without their consent.
• Don't impersonate another person.
• Don't spam or post repetitive, off-topic, or promotional content.
• Comments may contain spoilers — use the spoiler tag when they do.
• Violations may lead to content removal and/or account suspension.

Moderation

You can report comments that you believe violate these rules. An administrator may remove comments that violate these terms. Comments removed by an administrator cannot be republished by the original author.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site: no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access; no use of bots or automated tools without our permission; and no submitting other people's email addresses without their consent.

Intellectual property

The Kino name, brand, and site content are ours. TV and film artwork and metadata are provided by TMDB; this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Kino is not affiliated with TV Time or Whip Media.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing privacy@getkino.tv — your data will be deleted. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

“As is”, no guarantees

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that Kino will always be available, that every title will import successfully, or that the catalog is complete or accurate. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kino and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Italian or EU law.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kino.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: privacy@getkino.tv.
