A simple way to track a series
Sign in, search for the show, and add it to your Kino library. A newly added title starts on the Watchlist, which suits something you plan to watch. When catalog episode data is available, open the show and mark each episode as watched. Recording the first watch moves a Watchlist show into the Watching state.
Continue with the next episode
Kino uses your recorded episode history to find an eligible next episode for a continuing show. Home can then show an Up next card. It is a continuation aid based on saved history and available catalog data, not a release calendar, reminder service, or promise that every show will always have a next card.
Correct your history
If you mark the wrong episode, use the same control to return it to unwatched. Watchlist means you saved a title for later; Watching reflects a show with recorded progress; Watched is the library label for a completed title. Changing one episode’s watched state does not turn tracking into automatic activity detection.
Add useful context
Once an episode is watched, you can rate it. You can also mark library titles as favorites and use the Watching, Watched, Watchlist, Favorites, and Films filters to narrow the library. These controls organize the history you record; Kino does not stream the shows or films.
